I tried Sang’s drunken noodles last week, they were great! I really recommend them.
She also cuts hair great too, if you need a haircut ever!
I agree with both the delicious food and the great haircuts. Keep up the great work, Sang!
Sang so happy you are cooking for us – it is great food and your website is great!
Sang made an amazing appetizer for an office party–her famous Laotian chicken salad in little phyllo cups. It blew everybody away. Also try her drunken noodles. Awesome and authentic.
Awesome
Awesome empanadas!!! And great haircuts too…
If you want authentic and delicious Laotian food you have to try Sang on Wheels. The prices are great and the food (especially the drunken noodle) is amazing! Thanks Sang!
I tried your pork BBQ and noodles today. They were delicious!
I was so excited to see this cart on 23rd by GW– I get so bored of the same old sandwich shops every day. I got noodles and tofu and it was AWESOME. So nice to be able to get serious, homemade food during the work day. thanks!
Hello!
My name is Lindsey Smith. I am currently working on a book, “Sidewalk Spots: Eats on DC’s Streets” that will feature many street vendors in DC. I would like to include you in this book.
Where will you be this coming week, on Monday and Wednesday?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Lindsey Smith
Wow!! Food is legit!! Can’t wait until you are back in the GW neighborhood.
I tried the chicken pat thi and the shrimp pat thi and they were so GOOD! Keep making great food Sang!
I’ve had Sang On Wheels too many times to remember. The drunken noodles, pad thai and egg rolls are all to die for. I cannot account for the lamb or chicken unfortunately (vegetarian) but everything else on the menu is delish!! Definitely would recommend to all, especially if you enjoy spicy food.
Love your food! I always get the BBQ Lamb with noodles. Also love your Laotian egg rolls. I highly recommend you try Sang’s food!
I don’t eat fried foods from Laos but I appreciated the reasonably priced water!
Sang’s lunch truck always has some great standards (pad thai, egg rolls, drunken noodles), but she’s constantly mixing new stuff in too. Her bbq pork on a stick is great! She can make any order vegetarian as well. Great prices and I always head over when her truck is around. Thanks Sang!
Wish you would come to NASA HQ at 2 Independence Square (300 E St., SW, DC).
When are you coming to Chinatown?
Had some of your delicious drunken noodles and lamb meatballs today across from the HHS building. Glad I can out in the rain, I will definitely be back!
Friend and I just received 8 BBQ Lamb Balls, Mango Sticky Rice and GIANT Thai Iced Teas for free from Sang On Wheels! They were sold out of everything and let us have all their DELICIOUS leftovers. Come back to Union Station!
I agree. Her food is yummy. Thank you very much.
Sang’s vegetarian drunken noodles has just the right amount of heat, sweet and smoke- a delicious bargain. The thai iced tea was a little watery- will try the lemonade next time. I’m so happy my co-worker told me about her!
I heard about you from my Laos Friend… I’m so excited that there’s someone serving up Laos Food! Too bad I work in Fairfax but I will definitely have to check you out when I’m in the area!!!
Keep up the good work!!!
This was my first food truck. I was so impressed. It’s was FANTASTIC. I couldn’t wait till Sang came back. In fact she hit it out the park again today. Oh and the egg rolls…of the chain – goodness they’re good
Just like my mom used to make! Authentic comfort food.
Tried your shrimp pad thai and honestly was pretty disappointed. I got a HUGH serving of undissolved chicken boullion tangled up with the noodles and it made the dish very, very salty. Ended up throwing most of it away. I’ll stick with your drunken noodles I think.
How do I find out if you can do a private event? email me please!
The drunken noodles were very tasty, although they stuck together which made them hard to eat. But the flavor was very good. They came as a combo with meatballs — I had the beef, which were fine but nothing special. Next time I’ll just get the noodles.
We missed you at Patriots Plaza/NASA today. Please come back next week!
Great food! Just wish you came earlier (and more often) so I could buy from you more. Too many people here schedule meetings at lunch.
Love the food. Just wish she would come twice a week to NASA!!
I had a combo (meatballs) and soup. I really loved the soup and meatballs. I did not so much love the noodles. However, my coworker loved the noodles with a fiery passion.
I tried both fried rice and drunken noodle with lamb balls. Both were good, but the drunken noodle is the best, very tasty and authentic! Best of all, the selling lady can speak my language.
Cam on,
Duy
My favorite food truck of all time! Loooove the food and the upbeat friendly service. I hope the truck gets fixed soon, I miss you! Best of luck!
Tried the chicken drunken noodles today. Was impressed that I got a free sticky rice with mango, but not impressed that it contained bugs and that I received 3 slices of chicken breast and the rest was tofu which I do not eat. Not sure what these other people were eating, but I hope the food gets better. The service on the other hand blew me away. Very nice lady, great help on the truck too!
AWESOME drunken noodles, jumbo sized lemonade and GREAT service! I’ll be back!
hi I am looking for contact information such as an email address
Was just jonsing for spinach and rice, and wandered by Sang on Wheels. What a find! The veg/tofu drunken noodles, spicy but not too heavy, paired with the Lao ice tea has happily set a high bar even higher. Loved, loved, loved!!!!!
If the Black guys like myself only knew about Laotian cuisine….Chinese would lose money! lol….Excellent food experience as a 1st timer. She was very gracious and gave me a sample of everything. The Lamb Balls, Brown Rice, and Laotion Egg roll were just amazing. The seasoning of the chicken, beef, and shrimp too MAKES ME A CUSTOMER FOREVER
Sang, I love you. You guys are amazing. There was a short line so they handed out free Thai Iced Tea/Lemonade to everyone!
Now THAT’s how you do business!
Tried this truck for the first time yesterday and LOVED it! I actually ordered seafood fried rice, but since she was out of shrimp, I asked for veggies instead – I think what I got was actually veggie/tofu drunken noodles, but I am certainly NOT complaining! The food was amazing, and there was so much that I had leftovers for today’s lunch! YUM!!!
Got drunken noodles and empanada! Noodles had a nice sweetness and level of spice. Impressed with the portion and the topping (vegetables & meat) to noodle ratio. Empanada was equally tasty. Would definitely eat here again!
Hope you make it out to L’Enfant Plaza soon!
The Drunken Noodles (with chicken) was very good and filling. The tofu was the best part, so next time I’ll just get it with tofu. The empanadas were amazing, and the Thai iced tea was the perfect accompaniment. A great lunch!
I used to see the truck in the Navy Yard area on Monday. Do you still come around Navy Yard? If so, what day?
I tried Sang on Wheels today and had the drunken noodles w/ tofu, weggie roll and empenada — it was incredibly delicious. Flavorful and spicy – just the way I like it. To top it off, they were also really nice!! I highly recommend.
Loved the Pad Thai! But never seem to catch you at L’Enfant – what days are you usually there?
Sang on Wheels is great. I visit at Union Station and Farragut Square. I like the drunken noodles w/ lamb balls. I also get the mango & rice, when available.
Hello Sang, I am interested in hiring your truck for a few hours to provide lunch for our employees (apx 200 people total). Please email me back and let me know if this would be possible. The event would be later this month (between April 22-26). Thank you! -Pia
Please, please, please come to the NAVY YARD!!! I really enjoy your cuisine!!! The lamb balls and the egg rolls are FANTASTIC! You are my favorite food truck!!!
Excellennt Drunken Noodles and Satay. Reminds me of my days in SE Asia…so good.
I walked over a mile to find your truck today…and it was worth every step!
You folks are fantastic.

Sang On Wheels is my favorite food truck in DC; I always look forward to her stopping by my office! The lamb meatballs are amazing with everything, and her papaya salad is one of the best snacks I’ve ever had!
Love the drunken noodles and frequent you at L’enfant plaza. Do you cater? We are looking for someone for an event in early May. Please email me if so!
Sang on Wheels is guaranteed delicious satiation!!!
The first impressions of Sang’s food truck are immediately positive. First of all, there is Sang herself. Such a sweet woman who, no matter how busy she is, wants to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. “Do you like spicy things, I have just the thing,” or “Are you a vegetarian, well here is what is veggie and here is what is not!” Secondly, you know you have found a good spot when a menu that makes it very difficult to choose between all of the delicious sounding items. I have been a long-standing customer of Sang’s and everything that I have eaten (pad thai, drunken noodles, papaya salad, egg rolls, empanadas, fried rice, garden rolls) has left me very happy with my choice.
I am person who always loves the feeling of getting a bang (implies: taste, portion, vegetables) for my buck and Sang and her food truck do that AND MORE!!! Put simply, Sang is by far one of your best bets for a great lunch which happens to come at a great price as well.
Also, if you need a haircut, Sang does that too and does it very well. Check out Sang in Woodley Park for that info.
Hi, I bought food from your truck in front of 20 Mass Avenue yesterday, on 7/23. My total was $12.06 but I just checked my credit card account and you accidentally charged me $120.06. Please call me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE: 703-340-4423.

Thanks for the freebie soup today. I’ve never had lemongrass soup before and it was great! Will order next time.
Drunken Noodles was recommended by a Co-worker and it was “D” Licous… Will definitely go back!
Sang is the best! Her food is healthy and delicious, created with passion and love. She is kind, generous and hilarious. In addition to the standards, try the papaya salad. Healthy and refreshing.
I was at the Asian Heritage Festival today, 16 May and tried Sangs food truck. The food was amazing, the sugar cane drink was the best and the price we couldn’t beat..Highly recommended!
first time having Sang today – terrific, lovely service, authentic drunken noodles, egg rolls very good…a pleasure all around. Thank you Sang.
In the interests of full disclosure, I’m from Laos as well. But by no means is my review biased by that fact. I tried Sang’s drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp today and it was fantastic. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, and honestly I have never tasted a chicken like that, from Laos or any other country. I had the Thai ice tea to drink and the old staple of mango and sweet rice for dessert. It tasted like home. Do yourself a favor and give Sang’s food a try; you’ll be pleasantly surprised. In addition to the awesome food is Sang herself. She is kind hearted and her love and passion shows up in her food as well as her service and demeanor. Thank you, Sang.
Incredible food! Saying is a lovely person an awesome cook and a generous hostess! I truly appreciate my lunch I receive from sang on wheels! I walk away with a happy disposition and an abundance of yummy food! Thank you for sharing your personality and your passion for cooking I’ve been a faithful customer and I look forward to many more visits!
Caught Sang on Wheels at People’s Garden next to Freer Sackler Gallery. Great food & generous portions. Good eats for sure.
Very impressed with the veggie drunken noodles, perfect mix of sweet and spicy with generous amounts of tofu, fresh broccoli and carrots. Sang generously gave me some complimentary egg rolls which were also quite tasty. One of the best food trucks I’ve tried in metro center. I’ll definitely go back again.
My children wanted a form this month and discovered a business with a lot of sample forms . If others require it too , here’s

.I’ve eaten at a lot of food trucks, in different parts of the country, but Sangs in DC is in the top three. Her Thai iced Tea is amazing, and the drunken noodles made my eyes roll back in my head!!! Thank you!
ORGASMIC
I tried the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp at the September 16th Truckeroo and I must say it was awesome. Great flavors I wish my veggies were cooked a little longer. However, I’ll be in line at Truckeroo today 10/14/16.

I tried this food while in DC for training it was absolutely delicious! I wish it would come to Crystal City. I had the drunken noodles with shrimp and the shrimp was fresh shrimp not the frozen baby shrimp
I delight in, cause I discovered exactly what I used to be taking a look for.
You’ve ended my 4 day lengthy hunt! God Bless you man. Have a nice day.
